Sleep Paralysis Or Old Hag Syndrome

I wanted to share a video posted by Top5s.  It's a great video about sleep paralysis.

Sleep paralysis happens to thousands of people around the world all throughout history. It was once known as the "old Hag" or "Old Hag Syndrome." Science says this is a trick of your brain but the witness details are so specific. Interesting stuff.
 
My family had something witnesses by multiple people. Nobody was ever paralyzed during the experience but would see a shadow standing at the end of the bed.

Strange Sound in Abandon Mine

A man reviewing a flashlight decides to do so in the pitch black of an abandon mine.  He seems relatively confident even with tons of rock above his head.  But then at 12:08 he starts to hear some creepy whispering sounds which stop and start again.  That prompted him to leave.

The skeptic in me would say it could be some sort of echo from his footsteps or his own voice since it seems to stop as he stops walking and talking.  It certainly doesn't sound like the echo of footsteps. What do you think it is?  Frankly I've watched The Decent too many times.
